The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to Richmond station and the town centre. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided includes toast and a selection of cereals. There are also nearby restaurants, fast food chains, and supermarkets for additional dining options.
The wifi access is limited to the lobby and communal areas, which may be inconvenient for business travelers.

Stunning property, beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and great location with nearby restaurants and bars. Convenient walk from railway station. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. Helpful duty manager and excellent coffee in the breakfast room.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel, and it was perfect for our needs. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the rooms were excellent. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the Egyptian cotton bed linen was a dream. The hotel is beautifully furnished, giving it a luxurious atmosphere. The breakfast buffet had a delicious selection of options, and the staff, especially André, made us feel very welcome. This place is run with a lot of heart and attention to detail, and we highly recommend it to anyone.

Clean sheets and towels, helpful staff, great location for exploring Richmond.
While there were a few drawbacks, such as the need for refurbishment and the limited continental breakfast, these minor issues did not overshadow the positive aspects of our stay. I would highly recommend The Selwyn for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and superb location.
